To make your holiday with Dolcevita truly unforgettable, we have carefully selected unique accommodation in Sardinia: hotels "de charme", farm holiday centres and "diffuse" hotels. They are all marked by their small size and homely atmosphere coupled with distinctive style; they are family-run and set against enchanting scenery in pristine environments.
Agriturismo Vessus: set in an olive grove just outside Alghero, all the fascination of an old Sardinian farmhouse and all the comfort of a captivating ambience, with delicious cuisine based on traditional recipes and local organic products, grown and prepared on the spot.

Hotel Sa Pischedda: in the charming Medieval town of Bosa, an attractive hotel dating from 1896 looking out over the rippling waters of the Temo river, opposite the Malaspina Castle - caring, unobtrusive hospitality and delicious traditional food.

Hotel Luci del Faro: set in an enchanting nature oasis, between lush Mediterranean brush, long white beaches and the crystal clear sea of Calasetta, a perfect hotel for savouring new harmonies, new sensations and new flavours.

Hotel Sa Pedrera: a hotel based on the layout of the old Campidanese houses, situated on the enchanting Sinis peninsula, where land embraces sea, to relax at one with nature, feel yourself pampered, and try out some of the delicious local dishes.

Omuaxiu: how about stealing into a Sardinian house of 200 years back and finding out what life was like then? At Orroli you will find a charming diffuse hotel, which is also a living museum: here skilled hands prepare for guests bread, sausages, wines, preserves and traditional dishes.

1. Will I have a guide to assist me?
There are always two guides with "Dolcevita" tours, one on the support van which travels along the whole route with you providing refreshments and a van-ride if you feel tired. The other guide bikes along with you to point the way and keep the group together since people will be pedalling at different speeds.
2. What happens if I get tired along the way?
Remember the support van? It will always be there to take you to the top of the next hill, or even directly to the hotel if you wish.
3. What happens to my baggage?
Your baggage travels on the van, under the care of the guides. You will usually find your things waiting for you in your room at the hotel.
4. All the way by bike? I'm not a professional!
You don't need to be! To get the most out of your holiday, all we suggest you do is get in a little training, preferably a couple of weeks before the start of your holiday.
5. How far must I pedal each day?
It's up to you. The legs we have programmed take 3 to 5 hours, at "tourist" speed. You can pedal longer, choosing an alternative route, or less, riding for part of the route in the van.
6. How do I get to the starting point of my tour?
Starting and finishing points of our tours have been planned so that they are close to the island's airports to make things easier for you. If you wish, Dolcevita can pick you up at the airport.
7. How many people will be in my group?
"Dolcevita" groups usually consist of 15 to 20 bikers.
8. I'm travelling alone - do I have to pay the single supplement?
The prices quoted for our tours refer to accommodation in double rooms. If you prefer not to pay the single supplement, Dolcevita can pair you up with a room-mate of the same sex.
9. Shall I bring my own bike or can Dolcevita provide one?
If you prefer avoiding the risk of damage to your bike during the trip, you can rent one of our trekking or mountain bikes.
10. I know this is a pedalling holiday - but what if I want a rest as well?
All our tours finish up in splendid seaside resorts - if you wish, you can extend your stay for a further relaxing week.
11. Don't you have longer tours?
Our tours last a week and start and finish on Saturdays. If you wish to pedal longer than that, you can join two consecutive tours.
